Greg Tosko
Greg Tosko, Chair, is from Cleveland, Ohio and worked in New York commercial real estate before relocating to French Broad Crossing in 2021. Greg was 15 years on the Board and then Treasurer of All-Stars Project in New York, which enhances development through performance and provides opportunities for underserved kids. Greg and his wife, Donna, are nature and motorcycle enthusiasts who appreciate the mountains, rivers and roads of WNC.

Carol Stewart
Carol Stewart, Co-Treasurer, is a licensed mental health counselor and supervisor in private practice in Mars Hill. During a work trip from Annapolis, Maryland, she fell in love with the mountains and the people. Carol and her husband Mike relocated to the area in 2021, becoming involved in the French Broad Crossing and Madison County community. Carol and Mike, along with their 5-year-old lab mix, Umbra, enjoy hiking and river exploration. In addition to the FBC Foundation, Carol has served as treasurer in numerous military affiliated and service organizations.

Stan Goldenberg
Stan Goldenberg, Vice Chair, hails from Northern New Jersey and completed his undergrad at Ohio Wesleyan University and Master of Science at George Washington University. He retired in 2023 with 37 years in clinical laboratory product distribution, the majority with Thermo Fisher Scientific. Stan, his wife Debbie and their ferocious Yorkie, Monte, moved from Houston, Texas to Marshall to enjoy the cooler nights, hiking and the beauty of the mountains. Stan continues to provide healthcare consulting services and enjoys brewing beer.

Jon Weaver
Jon Weaver, Secretary, is a retired CPA and former partner at Ernst & Young. He and his wife, Janet, have enjoyed being part of the French Broad Crossing community and Madison County since 2021. Spending time in the mountains and Marshall have been highlights of their retirement years. In addition to serving on the Foundation board and FBC’s Finance Committee, Jon has been a member of the board of the Nashville Symphony, the Nashville Opera and the Columbus, Ohio Museum of Art. He is a current member of the Tocqueville Society of the United Way of Greater Cincinnati.

Ann Shiver
Ann Shiver, Community Liaison, is from Pine Bluff, Arkansas and was an ER and ICU nurse. Ann and her husband, Sam, moved from Cape Cod (after years of Air Force related stations around the country) to FBC in July 2009, when they quickly made friends outside FBC and became involved in several community organizations for the past 16 years. Ann has a special soft spot for children in need.

Ron Kraynick
Ron Kraynick, Co-Treasurer, recently retired from The Coca-Cola Company, where he served as a Senior Director within Global Procurement. A lifelong resident of the greater Atlanta area before moving to Madison County, Ron spent 14 years as a volunteer firefighter and held outreach and vestry leadership roles in his church. Ronand his wife, Kathleen moved here full-time in June 2024. Ron stays actively involved in local recovery efforts following Helene and volunteers weekly at Beacon of Hope. When he’s not lending a hand in the community, you’ll likely find him cycling or running on our beautiful mountain roads.

Kathleen Kraynick
Kathleen Kraynick is the Director of Marketing for a national law firm and brings many years of community outreach experience. Her volunteer leadership spans public schools, nonprofits focused on food insecurity and family homelessness, and the Episcopal Church in metro Atlanta. Kathleen and her husband Ron began their journey to Madison County in 2020 and moved full-time to French Broad Crossing in June 2024. She is an active volunteer locally, serving with the Marshall Relief Alliance and the Walnut Community Center Food Pantry. An avid hiker and reader, Kathleen and her husband, Ron also foster kittens for local rescue organizations—ensuring a steady supply of “pet energy” in their home.
