French Broad Crossing (FBC) is a nature first community along the French Broad River in Marshall, NC. While many of us relocated here from other parts of the state and country, we love our Madison County community and are committed to helping its recovery from Helene.
Volunteer Efforts
FBC homeowners stepped up to help Madison County recovery from Helene. Volunteer efforts to date include clearing roads, shoveling mud, tearing out drywall and clearing buildings in Marshall and Hot Springs, distributing donated goods, individual assistance to people and businesses of Marshall and Hot Springs, French Broad River area cleanup, procuring and providing meals to French Broad EMC, fundraising dinners for local business, donating and arranging supplies and equipment and many other acts of kindness.
FBC residents chip in (clockwise from upper left) to receive and organize donated goods in Hot Springs, help feed the volunteers at Nanostead - Marshall Relief Alliance, make lunch for the French Broad Electric line crews (2) and cleaning out flooded buildings in downtown Marshall.
